Need a New Human Factors Job?
The
job is a human factors position with Booze Allen Hamilton
for
distributed air-ground traffic managementfor air carriers.
There will also be work in developing similar applicationsfor
general aviation.
They
are looking for a recent grad or grad out a couple years
but if
someone with experience may want to apply also. Much of
the job is running experiments with pilots and helping out
with operations analysis and developing test plans.
The
bottom line is they need 2 people, one in McLean and one
in
Hampton, Virginia. The area is lovely and housing costs
are less than down here.

Florida
Space Coast Chapter Activities Update
An
August business meeting was held to install new officers
and
discuss topics for future meetings. Monica Philipart, our
activites director is busy planning our September meeting
(scheduled tentatively for late September). Jim Raley our
Director of Publications will be working on our chapter
web page (accessible from http://hfes.org
- see Florida Space Coast Chapter).
Andy and Faith will be completing the paper work to update
the
signatures on the bank account. Chapter funds (slightly
over $3000) will be used to pay fees for speakers, meetings
and provide science fair awards. If you have any detailed
